Shocker

Gee, I am stunned. Barry Bonds is under heavier scrutiny than ever for steroid use this season... and he's gone the first two weeks of the year without a single home run. What a shocking coincidence.

And now, as the news breaks that 'Roid Rage is under investigation by a federal grand jury for perjury, he has suddenly developed a chronic injury in his elbow; all of a sudden, Barry has bone chips and might retire.

Getting a little warm in the kitchen, Juicy Juice?

Where are the role models who send positive messages to children? Thank you for continuing to point out the ironies of Barry Bonds. People deserve to be held accountable for their actions...except celebrities, of course...or so they think...

Wasn't Mark McGwire going to work with children on spreading the message of steroid use?

I wonder if short-term memory is part of steroid use as well.

Yeah, I remember that too. But I guess we're not here to talk about the past, right?

Talk about a huge disappointment. I fell for 1998. I feel very misled and let down.

i was hoping you'd be posting about the shocker. I hold you accountable for your actions and titling a post "shocker" without mentioning the shocker is... well..

irresponsible journalism.

Beav... it's a *baseball* post. As in, the one subject that otherwise restrains my generally one-track mind. As in the subject that I don't get distracted from, not even for fun subjects like shockers.

You seemed a bit eager for me not to be discussing feigned surprise at a baseball incident...
